Gilles Denizot founded OperaLab in 2000. He is the General Director of this private organization which provides a tailor-made training for classical singers.

In November 2011, Gilles Denizot has been appointed as Lecturer in Music (Academic and Voice) at KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, India. From 2012 to 2014, Gilles Denizot will be conducting a “Specialist Vocal Performance” course, a comprehensive and detailed study of Western classical vocal performance to selected Diploma level singers.
The KM Music Conservatory and KM Music Symphony Orchestra were founded in 2008 by two-time Academy Award winner, Dr. A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire). The first institution of its kind in India, KMMC meets international standards of music education and is affiliated with Middlesex University in London.
